Growing up, I always had a crayon, paintbrush, or a sewing needle in my hand.

At sixteen, I got my first camera. This ignited my love of photography. The creative process is what makes me happy and I want to share that joy with you.

In 2006, I married the love of my life, Dan, and we have been together ever since. Career and life opportunities moved us all over the great United States. We have lived in small-town Iowa, the sprawling Motor City, on the banks of the Tennessee River, and now the most festive city in the world, New Orleans.

I documented our lives and journey as we went. In 2015 I started working for a major airline. The travelling spurred my creative spirit even more. Meeting new people, and experiencing new and different cultures have been very rewarding.

I most recently find myself in the amazing city of New Orleans. I have fallen in love with this city and its people. 2020 has inspired me to look to the future and find happiness in the smallest moments. That is what I want for you, to capture your great and small moments of joy. From the big question to the sassy gleam in your puppy’s eye, I want to help you savor these moments for years to come.
